Gary Comer Education Campus - home to the Gary Comer Youth Center and College Prep, this campus prepares young people for college, careers, and futures as well-rounded, global citizens. The Gary Comer Youth Center provides unique programming to youth (i.e. culinary arts, urban agriculture, and media & technology) and services to its community (i.e. public events, farmers markets, and hosting the South Shore Drill Team).



Greater Grand Crossing Library - more than just your average library, this location is LEED certified for its environmentally friendly elements incorporated in the building's design. They host community events from movie nights to "Crochet for Beginners."


Oak Woods Cemetery - pay your respects at this 171 year old lawn cemetery is the resting place to many famous folks, including Harold Washington, Ida B. Wells, Jesse Owen, Thomas Dorsey, and Enrico Fermi.




75th Street Restaurants - enjoy some of Chicago's best on this short stretch. Soul Veg City has a wide variety of vegan-friendly food, Lem's Bar-B-Q is neighborhood staple for its rib tips and hot links, Flammin Restaurant & Cuisine really puts the "soul" in soul food, and don't forget to satisfy your sweet tooth at Brown Sugar Bakery. That's just to name a few!



Lee's Unleaded Blues - listen to and learn about Chicago blues at the newly-reopened bar. This venue has attracted blues lovers from across the world since the 1970's, and now its relaunch will continue its legacy.
