It's that special time of year - Women Build month! 2024 marks my 9th Women Build with Habitat Chicago, and if you know me, you know this initiative means the world to me for many a reason.

1. A tangible way to help women fight back against the historic and current systemic challenges that make it harder to become homeowners and build generational wealth.

2. 700+ women coming together to lift one another up, step outside of comfort zones, BUILD HOMES, and have a whole lot of fun along the way (i.e. dance parties during building breaks).

3. I lost my Grandma Rose on the first day of Women Build in 2017. She was my best friend in the whole world, and during that time, I learned a lot of her earlier years that I didn't know before then. Like the women in our Affordable Homeownership Program, she was a trailblazer and dead set on ensuring her family had a better life than she did. Would not be where I am in this world without her.

So, with all of that, please consider a donation that will DIRECTLY better women's lives (during some scary times for us gals) and honor the legacy of my Gram.
