A five-day build event, bringing together Chicago women to fund and build the home of one of Habitat Chicago's inspiring woman-led families, the Goins.

WHERE
Habitat Chicago's focus neighborhood, West Pullman, located on the south side of Chicago. 
 

WHY

Women are particularly vulnerable to poverty across their lifespan. A number of factors, including unequal wages and time-consuming care giving responsibilities, make maintaining decent housing a huge challenge for female-led households.
