Did you know that there are over 259,000 people in Chicago are in need of affordable housing? That's a crazy number - but we can change it! My sweet late husband worked tirelessly for Habitat for many years as a project director and on the board in Barrington. I know first hand what a difference it made in those families lives as we helped them own a safe, well built home. I build for Bob.
I'm grabbing a hammer, strapping on a tool belt, and securing a hard hat. Why? Because a hardworking Habitat Chicago family needs a decent place to live.
