Our team here at Modern Woodmen of America in the Chicago and Suburban areas donated funds, time and labor last year to help with the landscaping and finishing touches on this beautiful home (see profile photo) built by Habitat for Humanity for a deserving family. This was such a rewarding experience and noble mission that we knew we wanted to team up again in the future with this amazing organization.

That time is now!

Our team is partnering up with Habitat for Humanity this summer to help their Chicago South ReStore location with new technology package upgrade! The enhanced system will improve transaction processing, inventory management, donor tracking, and reporting capabilities and allow their team to focus more time on serving people and less time on manual administrative tasks. The entire upgrade package will cost $2,000.

To start, Modern Woodmen has purchased the first two pieces of equipment needed leaving us with a goal of $1296 left to raise to complete the new technology package. We'll be back with our sleeves rolled up volunteering again on August 18th & hoping to have raised the rest of the funds needed for the entire technology upgrade.
