Last summer, I participated in Habitat for Humanity’s Chicago Women Build with my female architecture colleagues at Holabird & Root. I had a great experience working alongside many other women to improve the life of one particular women and her four young children by helping to fund and build them a home. Many of my friends and family played a part in this event through their generous support of my fundraising efforts.

This year, I'm excited to be participating in the event for a second time. I'll be building alongside the fearless women of Holabird & Root once more, and also my mom and younger sister this year!
