I'm grabbing a hammer, strapping on a tool belt, and securing a hard hat. Why? Because not to long ago I had my own housing crisis and my friends and family did not hesitate to provide emotional and monetary help to see me through. Everyone is not as blessed as I am to have people in their lives to help them in their time of need. Thats why I have decided to help a hardworking Habitat Chicago family have a decent place to live.
