This past year, the global pandemic revealed the importance of having access to a safe place to call home and the perils that arise from its absence. Unfortunately, a safe home environment is out of reach for too many of our neighbors, impacting our collective physical and mental health, our financial security, and our social wellbeing. With one in 10 Chicagoans currently living in inadequate housing, there is no better time than the present.

For this reason, I am committed to making a difference by helping to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity Chicago, a local organization dedicated to creating a pathway to secure a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home for so many deserving individuals and families.
