Homeownership and stable housing offer countless benefits. However, systemic barriers based on race and gender continue to impact the home-buying process. Unequal pay, uneven care responsibilities, and more make it harder for women to purchase a home — and redlining, predatory lending and many other factors make it even more difficult for Black women.
That’s why Cullen, Callan, and Fitzgerald have joined forces to participate in Habitat Chicago’s Women Build. Our physical and fundraising efforts will help our fellow women become homeowners through Habitat Chicago, a nonprofit committed to championing healthy neighborhoods by investing in resident priorities, building quality homes, and supporting homeownership.
Now I’m asking for your help: anything you can donate increases Habitat Chicago’s impact and helps women get the opportunities they deserve to become homeowners.
