Team Wolfpack is inspired by Abby Wambach's commencement address, in which she encouraged the women of Barnard to be the wolves of change that will save our world, to lead from wherever they are in life and to support the other women in their wolfpack.
We are taking steps to be the wolves of change in our community by raising money for Habitat Chicago.
The life-changing benefits of affordable homeownership are immense: it improves school performance, decreases crime, improves financial outcomes, and enhances the health and well-being of children and adults.
The members of Team Wolfpack are picking up our power tools, and joining in Habitat for Humanity Chicago's Women Build to do our part. Alongside 550 determined women, we will raise $475,000 to help build Habitat for Humanity homes that will be purchased by women with affordable mortgages. Then, we're hitting the Habitat construction sites in West Pullman to help build the homes.
Help us reach our goal so we can change the lives of these women and their families and show what can be achieved by a committed group of women working together.
