Where: S. Union Ave at 120th St. in West Pullman, home to Windy City Habitat’s block build

What: A four-day build bringing a community of 30 women together each day to learn building skills, work on a Habitat home, and support and invest in a hard-working woman-led partner family. Learn more about our partner family here.

How it works: Three teams of 10 can build each day. Sign up on this website for any available spot. Your team commits to raising funds before your designated build day to contribute to the cost of the Women Build home. Your team will then join two others on your build day and with the help of our construction leaders, you'll help build the Robinson's home! This build is kick-starting the Women Build home; all Women Builders will be invited back for the home dedication when the home is finished.

Teams of 10 individuals committed to building for one day during the event and meeting a fundraising goal of $2,500 are welcome to sign up. Find a complete list of teams and available spots here. You may sign up through the team page or here in any available spot. Join as a complete team or as an individual. By signing up, you will get your own personal fundraisng page, which will make hitting that goal quick and easy. First come, first served for build spots! There are few spots left -- see the openings here and sign up ASAP! If the openings don't work for you, send us a note to be notified about next year's event!
