It should go without saying: every single person deserves a safe and decent place to live. But that's not always the case - especially for women facing unequal wages and time-consuming care giving responsibilities. That's why I'm getting my hands dirty and taking a stand at Women Build 2017.

My team - CREW Chicago - will be working with over 300 other Chicago women and the homeowner to come together as a community to fund and build a home for a deserving family.
