It should go without saying: every single person deserves a safe and decent place to live. But that's not always the case, especially for women facing unequal wages and time-consuming care giving responsibilities. That's why I'm rolling up my sleeves, putting on a hard hat, getting my hands dirty and doing my part at Women Build 2017.

I have two beautiful daughters in college who are on their way to becoming good citizens of their community. It's my turn to give back. I kindly ask you to support me and an amazing family in this Women Build as I work with over 300 other Chicago women to come together as a community to fund and begin building a home.
