Every single person deserves a safe and decent place to live. But that's not always the case, especially for women facing unequal wages and time-consuming care giving responsibilities. That's why I'm getting my hands dirty and taking a stand at Women Build 2017. This charity is dear to my heart as I've stood in a place where I didn't know where my "home" would be and I had to start my life completely over again and find somewhere I'd feel safe and happy.

I'd greatly appreciate your support in my endeavors to work hands on at this upcoming Women Build Day next month as I will come together with over 300 other Chicago women as a community to fund and begin building a new home.
