This is my first year taking part in the Habitat Chicago Women's Build. I am so excited to be a part of an event that supports such a meaningful cause. I hope to continue supporting the Habitat Chicago Women's Build for many more years to come.
It should go without saying: every single person deserves a safe and decent place to live. But that's not always the case, especially for women facing unequal wages and time-consuming care giving responsibilities. That's why I'm getting my hands dirty and taking a stand at Women Build 2017.
You can support me and an amazing family this Women Build as I work with over 300 other Chicago women to come together as a community to fund and begin building a home.
