My commitment to Habitat Chicago's Women Build began in 2021 as a volunteer builder. Inspired by the mission and the impact it has on women and families in our communities, I stepped into a Team Leader role in 2022 and have proudly continued to lead a team in 2023, 2025, and now again in 2026. Each year, I am reminded of the power of women coming together to create lasting change.

This October, I'll once again grab my hammer, strap on my tool belt, and join hundreds of determined women through Habitat Chicago's Women Build. Together, we'll help more women achieve the dream of homeownership through a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods, building quality homes, and empowering families through affordable homeownership.
