Home is people.

It’s family around the kitchen table. Kids doing homework at the counter. Friends coming through the door. Celebrations, ordinary Tuesdays, and the people and moments that make a place yours.

That’s why I’m proud to return to Habitat Chicago’s Women Build this October — joining hundreds of women coming together to build something that matters.

Because while we may be building houses, what we’re really helping build is home.

A safe, stable home creates a foundation for so much more — security, opportunity, stronger families, and stronger communities. Yet for too many women, barriers to homeownership make that stability harder to reach. Women Build is an opportunity to roll up our sleeves and do something tangible about it.

I’m raising funds to support Habitat Chicago’s work helping women and families build stronger, more stable futures. Every donation — big, small, or somewhere in between — becomes part of that effort.

I’d love to have you on my build crew.

Because a house is something you build.

Home is the people you build it for.
