Six years. One hammer. One tool belt. And one of my favorite days of the year. 🔨❤️
This year, I’m heading back to Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s Women Build--and I’m especially excited that my daughter, Ella, will be by my side again.
Women Build is about so much more than swinging a hammer. It’s about knocking down the barriers that too often keep women from achieving the stability and opportunity that homeownership can provide. Together, we’re helping women build homes, build stronger neighborhoods, and build a foundation for a better future.
And this year, the need feels especially urgent. Major cuts to AmeriCorps funding have made it harder for organizations like Habitat and Women Build to do the work they do, which means our support matters more than ever.
So I’m asking you to please do what you can. Every dollar helps. Whether it’s $25, $75, $150, or whatever feels right to you, your contribution helps turn a hammer, a team, and a little generosity into something lasting.
Thank you, as always, for supporting me in something that means so much to me. I’m incredibly grateful.
