This October, I’m proud to roll up my sleeves, put on my tool belt, and join Habitat Chicago’s Women Build alongside hundreds of inspiring women who are coming together to make a difference. Together, we’ll help support women and families on their journey to homeownership while strengthening our communities one home at a time.

Owning a home is about so much more than having a place to live—it's about building stability, creating opportunities, and laying the foundation for a brighter future. Yet for many women, the path to homeownership continues to be filled with challenges, from financial barriers to inequities that make achieving this dream more difficult than it should be.

Habitat Chicago is doing incredible work to create and sustain healthy neighborhoods by investing in residents, building quality homes, and empowering future homeowners. I’m honored to be part of this effort and grateful for the opportunity to help open doors to a more stable and hopeful future for others.
