In 2019, 14 companies from the Chicago tech scene united for a common purpose: to build and fund a home for a deserving family, as part of the second annual The House that Tech Built Initiative. Together, these companies raised $235,000 and dedicated over 2,500 hours of their time. In 2020, we're doing it all again!  

Employees from Chicago's tech companies are rolling up their sleeves to build and fund a Habitat Chicago home in West Pullman. With our valued tech partners, we have two big goals:

1. Raise $200,000 to help fund construction of the home.
2. Build the home from start to finish, from April - November. 



From April - November, two days each month will be reserved on the Habitat Chicago build site for companies participating in The House that Tech Built. All build days run from 8am - 3pm.

Volunteer day activities can include anything it takes to build a home from start to finish. No construction experience is necessary - in fact, most of our volunteers are brand new to the world of construction. 

Whether you're painting, roofing, or landscaping, you're sure to have a rewarding experience building the framework for a stronger future. 



Whether you want to get your hands dirty for a single day or you're looking to engage several teams of employees across multiple days, your involvement is invaluable.
