Did you know that there are over 259,000 people in Chicago in need of affordable housing? That's a crazy number - but we can tackle it!
Help me in my quest to meet the anonymous donor's challenge to not only build a home for the Powers family in honor of Pope Francis, but to raise a dollar-for-dollar match to the donor's $60,000 contribution. Every little bit helps!
This project is particularly important to me and will hit many of you likewise, because you, too, are "Roselandites." The property is located in West Pullman on the 119th block of South Union Avenue, 60628. This is just a 6 minute drive from where I grew up at 12513 So. Wentworth.
Let's come together to meet this goal, build this house, and see the Powers family home! Your monetary contributions will make a difference.
